If you look at what Steve Harvey has done with Feud ratings and want to model your show after that, then Cedric is a natural choice.

I\'m quite certain that Cedric isn\'t really going to get the job, but as I said, it\'s interesting that his name is being tossed around here.

I mean, would Cedric be in anyone\'s top 40, much less top two or three?

Do we really need another game show hosted by a comedian? This show is about the contestant (one without the obligatory sob story), and not the host. True, there are times when Feud is just about as much about the comedic host than the families, but Millionaire is not the place for it.

Everyone has summed up my thoughts. Just because Steve has Feud getting its best numbers since the Combs era is not a reason to go after his sitcom and movie co-star. Granted, nobody here has seen Cedric host, but Millionaire is not the type of show where a comedian really shines.

Steve can cut up on a sexual question or dumb answer because that\'s what Feud is known for (well the latter, I should say). A serious trivia game that offers a million dollars isn\'t the place for Cedric The Entertainer*.

*Yes, I know Jeff Foxxworthy hosted Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader. I\'d like to think the format there was a little looser; Millionaire is better structured IMO.

I\'d like to see the show go back to the original format. Cedric as host will get better demos and more clearances than the show is currently getting. Expand the show to an hour and there will be enough time for Cedric to do his thing and get a couple of games in.

Because all new game show hosts must be former comedians now...as others said, Feud is a different case. And it works for \"party\" games like the CBS Daytime Two. This? Not so much. Plus I am not a big fan of the trend of comedians/out-of-work \'90s sitcom stars being tapped as game show hosts. I guess there\'s not so much of a demand for dedicated GS hosts now, though.
